W.M.C.A.A. History
In the fall of 2000, a small group of home schooling parents gathered together with one goal in mind: to provide their children with an opportunity for organized athletic competition, something that didn't exist before.
As these parents watched their children learn discipline and confidence through sports, they recognized that this was an excellent way to show them that biblical principles could be applied anywhere - even in a sport like football.
The program started with the rocket football geared to home educated boys. Later, our organization opened up to include any Christian family seeking the values instilled by the W.M.C.A.A. including families involved in charter schools, Christian academies, learning centers, and public schools.
The W.M.C.A.A. offers instructional sports classes for home schooled youth such as flag football, volleyball, floor hockey and basketball. Our competitive team sports include boys football , girls volleyball, boys volleyball, and girls cheerleading.
